Billable Hours

Proactive Talent defines billable hours as the time spent on activities directly related to a scoped project for a client. Though not an exhaustive list, this primarily includes:

• Meetings with the client.
• Meetings on behalf of the client (ex: with a vendor or other partner).
• Project planning, management, and project team meetings.
• Client communication (phone, email, etc.).
• Research, development, execution of client deliverables.
• Development and facilitation of presentations for the client.
• Reporting and data analysis.

Non-Billable Hours

In contrast, non-billable hours is the time spent on activities not directly related to a specific client project scope, such as:

• General administrative tasks, like time tracking or invoicing.
• Account management check-ins with Principals or Sales team.
• Project team selection activities or conversations (for projects you are apart of).
• Training or education for your own development.

Proactive Talent Activities

In addition to client projects, you may be invited to participate in Proactive Talent meetings or activities and are not directly related to your client projects. Many of these events are optional and/or provide a direct benefit to those participating. We respect and value the time you give to our company outside of client projects. Therefore, we have identified the following activities that would qualify as billable hours to Proactive Talent. Rates for this time are based on the activity and will be agreed upon, in writing, prior to any time spent on the below activities:

• Interviewing and selection of tribe members for internal roles or roles not associated with client projects you are a part of.
